Day 1: Drive to the rift valley Lakes and visit Dedrezeit which is 50Km away from Addis Ababa, which has a warmer climate. It is near the Crater Lakes, such as Hora and Bishoftu, Babogaya where one can find numerous beautiful water birds, around the town and continue driving to the Lake Langano and on the way visit Lake Ziway. Overnight in Langano

Day 2: Drive to Abijata Shalla National park and Lakes to visit different types of birds and ain the afternoon drive to WondoGenet visit the green area with the forest and wildlife.Overnight at WondoGenet

Day 03: in the morning enjoy with hot spring and in the afternoon drive back to Addis Ababa

Day 1: City tour in Addis

  • Entoto hilltop – this hill was the capital of king Minilik.  It is the best point to overlook the capital and its surroundings.
  • The National Museum-is the best place to have an insight about the past and the present of Ethiopia. It   displays substantial artifacts and eco facts, including the fossil of “Lucy” that dates 3.2 million years back.
  • Cathedral of Trinity-it is established in 1941. It is the 3rd largest in the country and baroque style in architecture. The crypts of the last Emperor Haile Selassie I and, his consort are found here. The cathedral is indispensable for its paintings as well.
  • Ethnographic  museum
  • Merkato-is the largest open-air market in Africa where one can get everything for shopping or looking on the way one can visit different quarters of the capital, the so called educational village, the communication complex and different historically important monuments 

 Day 2: Drive to Sodere which is located on the eastern boundary of the Great Rift Valley 125km south of Addis, Sodore is the most frequented weekend destination. It is the site of natural hot springs and has two Olympic size swimming pools.Sodore also serves as a stopping-off point for bale mountains trekkers on their way to or from Addis but on the way to Sodere  visit Dedrezeit which is 50Km away from Addis Ababa, which has a warmer climate. It is near the Crater Lakes, such as Hora and Bishoftu, Babogaya where one can find numerous beautiful water birds, around the town and driving back to Nazareth. Overnight in best Hotel in Nazret

Day 3: In the morning drive to Awash national park, visit the nearly 50 kinds of large mammals are found in the park, including Greater and Lesser Kudu, wild pig, Menelik’s Bushbuck, Soemmering’s gazelle, and various predators including lions, leopard and cheetah, 
For the ornithologist, nearly 400 species of bird have been recorded in this savanna grass land including: the Abyssinian roller, Abyssinian ground horn bill, the endemic white tailed swallow, buff crested bustard, dark chanting goshawk, pygmy falcon, honey guide, woodland kingfisher, kori bustard, black shouldered kite, white and crowned rosy patch shrike, carmine bee eater, orange billed parrot, lilac breasted roller, lappet faced and Ruppell’s vulture.  
We will visit the Awash River and fall before returning to our hotel. Overnight in the lodges

 Day 2: Drive to the east of Addis to reach Awash. Visit the majestic falls during the rainy season and make game drive in the evening and overnight in a lodge.

 Day 3: visit the hot springs of Fentalle and overnight in a lodge.

 Day 4: Drive bak to Addis on the way visit Debrezeit the home of creator lakes and water birds.

 Day 2: The Blue-Nile Gorge situated 226Km North of Addis Ababa. It is where the road to Gojjam and Gondar winds down 1000m.This one day trip also includes a stop at the 13th century monastery of Debre Libanos, as well as a 19th century bridge, known as the Portuguese bridge mistakenly 106Km from Addis.  Day 3: Tiya, Adadi Mariam and Melka Qunturie )

 Situated at 90Km from Addis, Tiya witnesses the most numerous prehistoric stele anywhere in the Ethiopia. Melka-Qunturie is the site of stone tools dating two million yrs old. There are also excavations of the same period where by fossils of ancient hominids have been found. Not far from Melka Qunturie, the 12th century rock hewn church of Adadi-Mariam reminds one of the Lalibela churches of the same period. O/N  IN ADISS ABABA HOTEL 

  Day 4: Debrezeit-Lake town  It is only 50Km away from Addis Ababa, Debre-Zeit known as Bishoftu by the local Oromos, has a warmer climate. It is near the Crater Lakes, such as Hora and Bishoftu, Babogaya where one can find numerous beautiful birds.

 Day2: Morning drive to the rift valley lake Ziway, lake Abyata and lake Langano, over night in Langano We set off early down the Rift Valley and by the lakes of Koka and Ziway before arriving at Lake Langano where we will check into the hotel. We will stop at Lake Ziway and head down to the lakeshore where huge numbers of water birds are congregated. African pygmy Geese, yellow billed storks, Collared Pratincoles, Lesser and greater Jacanas, African Jacanas, White Pelicans, Fish Eagles, crowned and common cranes are some of the species to be seen here in impressive numbers. Lake Langano is bilharzia and crocodile free, and visitors can go for a swim, walk along the shores of the lake or go bird watching in the acacia forests along the lakeshores.
Around 4.00 PM we will make the short drive to Shalla and Abiata National Park, and after passing the tame ostriches at the gate, head first towards Shalla Lake which with a maximum depth of 300 meters is the deepest of the Rift Valley Lakes.over night hotel

Day 3: Morning drive to Sof omar cave, the huge caves with their vaulted chambers, flying buttresses, massive pillars and fluted archways, resemble a cathedral; in fact, sof omar has long been an important religious site. The caves are still greatly venerated by Muslim in the area.

Day4: Drive to Bale mountain national park The Bale Mountains National Park is a national park in the Oromia Region of southeast Ethiopia. Created in 1970, this park covers about 2,200 square kilometers of the Bale Mountains to the west and southwest of Goba in the Bale Zone. Within its boundaries are some of the highest points in Ethiopia, which include Mount Batu.Bale Mountains contains three distinct ecoregions: the northern plains, bush and woods; the central Sanetti Plateau with an average elevation of over 4000 meters; and the southern Harenna Forest, known for its mammals, amphibians and birds including many endemic species. The central Sanetti Plateau is home to the largest population of the rare and endangered Ethiopian wolves. Late in the afternoon drive back to Shashemene. Overnight in shashemen.
